Virtual Claims

Claims are likely to occur even on BIM projects. BIM models can be used to support claims and disputes in court. Our specialists have years of experience providing visual proof of design and construction claims, which we like to call ‘Virtual Claims’. Following the saying that “A picture is worth a thousand words” we can utilize videos and screenshots comparing models at different stages of the project; we can showcase poor quality of the models compared with the project BIM requirements, extract material quantity, or record 4D simulations comparing the baseline versus actual schedule. Review of technical documentation, like drawings, specifications, RFI’s, Change Orders, emails and site photos help to prepare documentation for the legal councillors in the simplest, visual way, so that even non-technical experts will understand the issues better and make their judgment easier.
